1Password is the second thing I install on any new Mac or iOS device (after Dropbox). If you’re not using it, go and check it out.
Incidentally, this is my first piece writing for AppStorm. If there are any iPad apps you’d like reviewed, drop me a tweet or leave a comment.

I’ve been asked a few times if the GORUCK bags really are weatherproof.

This is something I intend to test fully during September’s Invesco Perpetual Highland Adventure Race, however in the meantime, there’s a short video demonstration after the break.

This really looks like it will take the hard work and tedium out of starting a new web project. The best bits from the HTML5 Boilerplate with some clever browser width detection. Great work.

Back when I placed my order for a GORUCK Echo, I placed a simultaneous order for a GORUCK GR2. I travel quite a lot, especially at weekends, and the thing I hate about it most is living from a rucksack. Trouble is, you can’t argue with the practicality of one when moving from one location to the next. Holdalls and trolley style travel bags are a real pain to move around, especially in confined spaces (such as a ship).

It sort of makes me wonder at what point a three finger swipe on iOS will switch me between apps like it now does with spaces and full-screen mode in Lion. Hmmm…
It’s already possible to enable the three finger swipe on an iPad – just plug your iPad into a Mac running Xcode and use the device organiser to enable ‘use this iPad for development’. Then under settings, general, enable multitasking gestures:

Once you’ve done that, you’ll be able to use all of the gestures listed above!

This is HUGE. 1% of global browser share. Think about how much traffic that really is for a second… Not bad for a product that didn’t exist until April 2010.
