We are on a two week trip, visiting friends up and down the west coast, traveling mostly by train. She packed a REI Flash 30 (another great and light pack), and I packed my GR1.
In Seattle we rented Kayaks with friends to enjoy…
Some more real-world GORUCK water test experience. As I say, in the real world, these bags will keep your stuff dry, organised, easy to move around and look great while doing it.

Following up on Jon’s fantastic GR Echo water test, here’s my Echo after an hour in really heavy rain.
It is soaked. Completely.
The contents, however, are all dry. This includes my iPad, iPhone, and 2 wireless routers.
Positive feedback from a real-world test.
